Representing for Detroit 313, DJ STINGRAY stands as one of today’s most uncompromising producers and selectors. Probably best known as the former balaclava-wearing tour dj of Drexc…iya, Sherard Ingram’s own contribution to Detroit electro-techno music is big. Releasing music under both the Urban Tribe moniker – a collaboration between Ingram, Anthony ‘Shake’ Shakir, Kenny Dixon Jr. (AKA Moodymann) and Planet E boss Carl Craig – and under his solo Stingray 313 moniker, the man stands as one of the few keeping Detroit electro effectively alive. As far as his dj sets go: think high-speed aquatic sci-fi breakneck electro-funk and you’re well off. Straight up cyborg shit, wave-jumper shit, aqua worm hole shit…

Our second guest hails down from Paris/The Hague/ Los Angeles and is now based in Rotterdam. Christelle Gualdi aka STELLAR OM SOURCE it is. Think shit-load of gear, analogue synth jams, real-time drum machine programming and live 303 actions! All above floats the spirit of the Detroit techno and she’s keeping the faith in it. Lately she shared the stage with Hieroglyphic Being, ITAL, Teengirl Fantasy for some names.

Being dedicated to electro music, we stuff this night up with two more live performances: one by ELMER, mysteriously composed of two super-producers from the Bepotel collective. The other by Namur’s moustache-capricorn Lebienheureux who under his EIEEUEU moniker will be performing his electro-techno oriented stuff.

Having passed one side of the night in live performances and having started off the second part with Stingray’s 2 hour set, we have Fuse resident DEG to take on the 313 groove and guide us through the breack-neck part. More dj-backup from 54/crewstacé’s Azaryx and Skar.
